Food In Selangor: Kedai Kopi, Shah Alam

This Kedai Kopi (which means Coffee Shop) is situated at Tasik Shah Alam, near the Shah Alam Mosque. We went there after a tiring mini shopping trip to the Giant Supermarket at Plaza Masalam. The location is very nice & relaxing. No problem with the heavy traffic or even parking space. Suitable for family like mine with very active two boys!

The waiter told me that the best selling drink & food on the menu is 'air asam boi limau' & Shah Alam Beef kue teow . Both were delicious.. will come back for more.

Adam & Kindergarten

Jan 3rd, 2011 was the first day of schooling for Adam (he's 5). I had no troubled waking him up in the morning. He even finished his breakfast, showered & ready to go to Sri Bunga Raya Kindergarten on time. I was really happy that day as everything went smoothly. I said my goodbyes & left the kindergarten. That has been my new routine now for the last 2 weeks. So far, no problemo.. (I'm so proud of him.)

This picture was taken 15/20 min after he had lunch after he came back from his first day of school. I really think he had fun that day!

Everyday I asked him what he did at school that day, he will answered, I play & sing with my friends. It is the trend now that the teachers using games & music as an educational tool. I'm so glad, because I myself been using that method at home. After 2 weeks of school, I am satisfied with Adam's progress.

Adam loves to talk, he's the kind of kid with lots of 'why?' I really hope the teachers at the kindergarten won't get bored by his 'why?'

Just wanna share:
Adam: Mama what are you doing?
Me: I'm playing an online game.
Adam: Why?
Me: I want to 'beat' umi (score). <-- my eldest sister
Adam: Why you want to beat umi? I love umi.
Me: No, I want to win the game.
after a few minutes
Adam: Did you win mama?
Me: No, I lost to umi. I'm so sad..
Adam: Mama, you need to practice. Practice makes perfect, u know!
Me: .... (speechless)

Moral of the story: Never underestimate your kids.. & for UMI, ur nephew loves you.

Share some of ur kid's story with me.. would love to hear them.
